SVU
Orientation FAQ’s
1. Do I HAVE to come?

is HIGHLY recommended for all new students.
It will help you learn the unique system here and set you up for
success. Plus, it’s a LOT of fun and you
get to meet a lot of great people.
2. How
much does it cost?
a. Our
Orientation is FREE! And besides that,
you get some wonderful items just for coming.
3. What’s a PAL?
a. Your
PAL is your Peer Advancement Leader. He
or she will help you in your transition to SVU.

4. What
do we DO at Orientation?
a. There
are two main goals of our Orientation. First, we want you to make some new
friends and feel connected to our great university. Second,
we want to show you and acquaint you with the various resources available to
you to insure your success as a new SVU student. In between these two things, we have a lot of
fun and enjoy some awesome activities.

a returning student to SVU- do I need to go?

returning to SVU)

be surprised how much things can change in two years! So…..YES! In just the last two years the following
