| Homeschool/Non-Traditional Student Scholarship | | This scholarship is available to incoming freshmen, transfer students, and current students who have homeschooled or attended a private high school. This award recognizes those students who have demonstrated faith in God and service to mankind. Accepted students must complete a scholarship application (PDF) and submit it to the Director of Financial Aid by May 31st for consideration for the upcoming Fall term. Spring term applications must be submitted no later than October 17th. Applicants must provide a list of all religious awards and positions held, and community service rendered and awards received. Applications must also include a written essay, 200 words or less, on who is a hero of yours and why. A telephone interview is also part of the application/selection process. You will be contacted to schedule a time for this interview. The scholarship amount will be awarded up to $10,000. A GPA of 3.0 must be maintained in order for the scholarship to be renewed each year. |
