Gregory Stokes

From June 2005 to October 2007, Gregory Stokes served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Esprit Pharma, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company focusing in the genito-urinary therapeutic area. Under his leadership, Esprit grew to over fifty million dollars in revenues and deployed a sales force of over 200 reps before being acquired in 2007 by Allergan, Inc.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development for ESP Pharma, a specialty pharmaceutical company founded in 2002 to focus on the acute-care market. At ESP, he was in the forefront of identifying and completing acquisition transactions contributing to the growth of the company's portfolio of products and development drugs.
Prior to ESP, Greg served as Director of Business Development with Shire Plc. He was also previously employed by Roberts Pharmaceutical Corporation, which merged into Shire in 1999. While at Roberts, Greg advanced from a Specialty Hospital Sales Representative to Senior Manager of Business Development and Strategic Planning. Before working at Roberts, he served as a Sales Representative for Reed & Carnrick Pharmaceuticals, a division of Block Drug, which was acquired by German based Schwarz Pharma AG.
Mr. Stokes holds a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and received his MBA and J.D. degrees from Rutgers University. He has extensive international pharmaceutical experience and was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1999.
