Parking Information

Student Vehicle Registration: For the 2011-2012 academic year there will not be a fee to register your vehicle. All new students and students with new vehicles for the 2011-2012 academic year must register their vehicle using this form. If you registered your vehicle during the 2010-2011 academic year and were issued a parking decal, you will not need to obtain a new one.

Once your vehicle is registered, a tag will be made available for you within 3 business days (usually within a couple of hours). Come to the OPSS office to pick up the tag anytime. If nobody is in the office when you arrive, please either call to see when someone will be in or try again at later time; there will usually be an officer in the office.

Starting this year, all vehicle registrations will be done through MySVU.

All questions/concerns related to parking should be directed to the Office of Public Safety and Security (OPSS). Please contact the office at: parking@svu.edu.
