Transfer Students and Housing
Housing Charges
Students are charged for their housing based on their official class standing with the Registrar's Office. It is the student's responsibility to provide the Registrar's Office with any official transcripts that need to be evaluated prior to the end of the add/drop period in order to assure proper billing.
Freshmen Housing
If a student can provide sufficient proof that they will not be considered a freshmen during the first semester of attendance, they will not be required to live in freshmen housing. Sufficient proof could be confirmation from the registrar's office that transcripts have been received, but not evaluated. Copies of unofficial transcripts can also be sent to

Please note that unofficial transcripts sent to this address do not affect a student's transcript evaluation with the Registrar's Office. Any official transfer credits must be coordinated with and evaluated by the Registrar's Office. For more information on transferring credits, please click here.
Off-Campus
Students may not live off campus until they are 21, married, or officially classified as a junior or senior with the Registrar's Office. It is the student's responsibility to provide the Registrar with the needed transcripts in a timely manner to meet the off-campus qualifications.
