Check-In/Check-Out Dates
Welcome home.
Our beautiful, well-maintained campus is home to hundreds of Southern Virginia University students. Along with the Code of Honor and residential living policies, on-campus students are expected to be aware of the following guidelines:
- Students wishing to check-in before the dates shown must obtain permission from the Director of Housing prior to making travel plans and will be charged $25 per night.
- Students who arrive before the residence halls are open will not be allowed to check-in and are responsible for obtaining their own temporary lodging.

Students must check-out with their Resident Advisor prior to leaving campus at the end of the semester/academic year. Failure to check-out will result in the forfeiture of the student's housing deposit.
- If a student has special circumstances and needs to remain on campus, they must first obtain approval from the Director of Housing (a $25 fee/night will apply).
