The Office of Institutional Advancement is committed to supporting the mission of
Southern Virginia University.

Our goal is to financially strengthen the university through solicitation of private and public donations. These donations are used to create a revenue stream to provide scholarships, endowments, faculty support, construction and maintenance of physical facilities and other capital improvements.

Richard G. Whitehead, Vice President of Institutional Advancement

Richard Whitehead is the vice president of institutional advancement at Southern Virginia University. Dr. Whitehead joined the Southern Virginia staff in August 2003.

William D. Braddy, Director of Institutional Advancement

Bill Braddy is the Director of Institutional Advancement at Southern Virginia University. He attended NC State University and The Moore School of Business at USC.

Jeff Robison, Director of Annual Giving

Jeffrey Robison is the director of annual giving at Southern Virginia University. Robison became Southern Virginia's director of Annual Giving in June 2005.

Allison Page, Assistant to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement

Allison Page is the assistant to the vice president of institutional advancement at Southern Virginia University. Page, a Chicago native, joined the Southern Virginia University staff in Feb. 2010.
