The Southern Virginia University Shenandoah Invitational Art Show, hosted by Richard and Nancy Marriott, is a gala affair offering paintings for sale by professional artists from around the country. A portion of the price of each painting funds scholarships at Southern Virginia University.
Bask in the beauty of original works of art. Enjoy a gourmet dinner at the Marriott and moving musical performances by the Southern Virginia University Concert Chorale and guest soloists. Meet nationally known artists, art faculty and current fine arts students from Southern Virginia. When you take some art home, you make it possible for more students to enjoy the benefits of the genius of small.
This year's show is scheduled for Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Fairview Park Marriott Hotel in Falls Church, Virginia.
