The Visual Arts program challenges students to develop fundamental creative skills while exploring various artistic media.
Visual intelligence is more important today than ever before. In our visually oriented world, an understanding of visual communication is vital to understanding who we are and what is happening around us. Art provides a key to understanding culture, thought and human experience. In many cases, art also pries open the door to finally understand ourselves.

Along with creating an array of beautiful art pieces semester-long projects, visual art students acquire a foundation in studio art and art history, as well as training in articulate verbal and written communication.
