Craig Lawhorne

Craig Lawhorne is the executive assistant to the provost at Southern Virginia University.
Prior to joining Southern Virginia, he worked as associate director of programs at the George C. Marshall Foundation in Lexington, Va. where he directed educational outreach programs, and directed/co-directed a number of workshops, symposia and seminars with the Federal Executive Institute, the U.S Army, the U.S Air Force and the U.S. State Department.
Lawhorne has a bachelor's degree in liberal studies from Southern Virginia University and a master's in history from James Madison University.
He and his wife Ruthie live in Buena Vista, Va., and have three children.
