On-Campus
The faculty and staff of Southern Virginia University are always on the lookout for students who are good candidates for campus internship programs. One of the greatest advantages of these internships are schedule flexibility a location right on campus. Some internships can also lead on to student employment positions for the university.

The Career Development Center is constantly striving to strengthen corporate relationships so that our students have internship opportunities with high-profile companies. We also have resources available to us that can help you find summer internships near your hometown. There is also the possibility of landing an internship with a corporation that pays you for your work.

Receiving Internship Credit
Most internships, on or off campus, can be used for general elective credit at Southern Virginia University, however, pre-approval is required to receive credit.
