Plan a Campus Visit
Throughout the year, students and their parents are invited to visit Southern Virginia to take a guided tour of campus, see residence halls, eat in the dining hall, sit in on a class, or meet with professors or coaches. Please let us know if there is any specific program you are interested in or any specific class you would like to sit in on.
Schedule a Campus TourTo schedule a tour, click the button to the right, email admissions@svu.edu or call 1-800-229-8420.
Explore the Area
While you're in the area, you may want to schedule an extra day or two to see some of the natural and historic sites in surrounding Virginia. Washington, D.C. is only three and hours away, and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway is just fifteen minutes from campus (closed in the winter).
Schedule a Talent Audition
When you visit Southern Virginia, you can audition for talent scholarships for athletics or fine and performing arts. Download the PDF below for contact information for coaches and/or faculty members. They will be able to assist you, set up audition times and let you know what you should prepare for such an audition.
