There are two ways to visit Southern Virginia:

1

Attend an Open House

Throughout the year, we host on-campus open houses at which you can get to know current Southern Virginia students, meet our professors, staff and coaches, attend an athletic event or performing arts production and more. To make it even easier, we'll reimburse up to $250 of your travel costs.

2

Plan a Campus Visit

If you can't make it to an open house, you can plan a campus visit and receive a guided tour from a member of our admissions team. We’ll be able to answer any of your questions and help you through the admissions process.

See for yourself.

There are many important things to consider when exploring potential colleges. Academic options, location, size and other physical characteristics are easy to judge and will play a major role in your decision. But other intangible characteristics aren’t as easy to identify—they can only be felt.

How will you ‘fit’ at a school? What is the campus vibe? How do you feel when you walk through the classrooms and residence halls? Sometimes intangibles make all the difference in deciding if a school is right for you.

The only way to judge the intangible characteristics of a school is to experience them first-hand. By visiting Southern Virginia and talking face–to–face with students and faculty, you have the opportunity to feel the nurturing atmosphere of our Latter-day Saint environment and discover how much our students love their university and what great things are in store for you here.
