Beyond SVU
Southern Virginia’s liberal arts majors are bold and ambitious in their plans. Many enter directly into diverse professional fields, such as business, education and publishing, while others pursue graduate school in various fields. The major has become a popular choice for those students who also complete the pre-med curriculum, and our graduates have experienced above-average success nationally in admission to the medical and dental programs of their choice.
