Campus Pre-law Club
The SVU Legal Forum is a campus club at SVU for those interested in law. It meets or has field trips about 6 times per semester. Events include: guest speakers, guest representatives from law school admissions offices, attending Pre-Law conferences hosted by the Virginia Bar Association, visits to law schools/courts/jails, etc.
In 2009 the club was able to secure tickets to hear oral arguments at the Supreme Court of a case previously argued by pre-law students in the Judiciary class. They also enjoyed a tour of the Supreme Court Building conducted by a current Supreme Court Clerk.
